November 13th, 2005 produced a gale with sustained winds of45-55 mph, gusting to as high as 75 mph according to the local TV weather that night, which is the wind velocity of a category 1 hurricane! The animations linked from this page are taken from some of the 2200+ photographs that I shot that day along Lake Michigan's eastern shore between South Haven and Grand Haven.
