Daylight view of Cana Island photographed in June, 2001 from essentially the same location as the dawn photo to the left. The rocky shelf surrounding Cana Island is seen in the foreground and clearly highlights the need for a lighthouse to warn shipping away. This photograph was taken at a focal length of about 20 mm and is a somewhat narrower view than the photograph to the right shot from about the same location a year later.
