"Eccentric Concentric" - Bodie Island Lighthouse Stairs, Outer Banks, North Carolina

This photograph of the spiral stairs inside the Bodie Island lighthouse on North Carolina's Outer Banks was shot looking straight up. The stairs to the lantern room have been closed to visitors for many years and efforts are presently underway to raise the funds to restore the stairs so that visitors will one day be able to climb this historic lighthouse.

The famed 12x18 double matted print offered for sale is double matted white a white inner mat and a black core outer mat as shown above in a satin finish black metal frame with conservation clear glass.
